Every print in this collection is produced through one of two trusted print partners — Labkorner or Werk aan de Muur — chosen based on where you're located and what you're after. Both hold every print to a professional, gallery-grade standard; the right partner for your order depends on delivery destination and the finish you want.

Two Print Partners, One Standard

Labkorner is the photographic laboratory behind YellowKorner — the French fine art photography gallery network with locations across Europe. For over a decade, Labkorner has printed for more than 400 professional photographers preparing gallery shows and museum-grade editions. Labkorner ships to Europe and 30 other countries, including North America, Asia and Australia, and offers the widest range of framing, including 12 hand-finished wood shadow-gap frames — from black and white satin to natural oak, walnut, and bubinga — for large-format prints up to 180 × 120 cm.

Werk aan de Muur prints and ships within Europe. Alongside canvas, acrylic glass, aluminium dibond, and framed photo prints, Werk aan de Muur offers an interchangeable ArtFrame system — order just a new print later ("wisseldoek") without buying a new frame — and weather-resistant outdoor canvas for pieces that live outside.

I choose the partner for each print based on the material and framing you select — both are held to the same standard I'd expect for my own gallery work.

Craftsmanship & Process

Every file is manually reviewed before printing — not an automated pass, an actual person checking resolution, color, and detail against what the print size demands. Nothing is printed until it's ordered.

Sizes

Sizes range from small statement pieces to large-format Collector prints suited to hotel lobbies, offices, and open-plan spaces.

Made to Order

Every print is produced specifically for you once your order is placed — nothing is pre-printed or held in stock. Because each piece is made to order, prints cannot be returned. If a print arrives damaged or with a fault, you file a complaint with the print partner that made it. The FAQ below explains how.

Limited Editions & Edition Register

Each artwork is limited to 50 prints in total, counted across all sizes, materials and sales channels. No more than 10 of these are made in formats larger than 100 cm. I keep the edition register myself, across both print partners. When an edition is sold out, it is closed permanently. Digital Art editions are labelled as AI-generated on the page. See It Before You Order

Every print can be previewed directly in a room setting — bedroom, living room, office — before you buy. Both Labkorner and Werk aan de Muur offer this on their own site once you select a material: upload or select your space, choose a wall color, and see the print at true scale in that context.

  • Prints are made to order once you confirm your selection — nothing is pre-printed or held in stock. Labkorner indicates about 2 weeks for delivery in Europe and about 3 weeks outside Europe. Werk aan de Muur indicates 7 to 9 working days. These are indicative times, not guarantees.

  • Yes. The formats shown in the configurator cover the most common requests, but custom sizes are available — for professionals, including digital files to print yourself, get in touch directly through the For Professionals page.

  • Every file is manually checked before printing, and color-managed from export to final print, so what you see in the room preview reflects what arrives. If a print doesn't meet your expectations, file a complaint with the partner that made it, as described under returns.

  • The price depends on size, material and finish, and shipping depends on the country. You see the exact price on the order page of Labkorner or Werk aan de Muur before you decide. Every print is made to measure on 260 g satin photo paper with UV-resistant inks, and you can order it unframed or have it framed. Every print is a limited edition of no more than 50 per image, and I keep the edition register myself.

  • Labkorner delivers to France, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Austria, Spain, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, Ireland, Denmark, Greece, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Switzerland, Norway, the United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico, the USA, Australia, China, South Korea, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Singapore, Thailand and Lebanon.   • It depends on the material and finish you choose. Wood-framed prints and prints shipped outside Europe go through Labkorner; ArtFrame, outdoor canvas, and other European orders go through Werk aan de Muur. Delivery destination is checked at checkout.

  • Because every print is made specifically for you after ordering, prints cannot be returned. If a print arrives damaged or with a fault, file a complaint with the partner that made it. Labkorner (contact@labkorner.com) asks for supporting documents within 10 working days, and its prints carry a 2-year guarantee. Werk aan de Muur replies to a complaint within 14 days and applies the statutory warranty.

  • Pixelation depends on two things: how many pixels the file has, and how far you stand from the print. A large print is seen from further away, so it needs fewer pixels per centimetre than a small one. As a rule of thumb, around 100 to 150 pixels per inch is enough for a large print on a wall. For a print of 100 cm on the long side, that means roughly 3,900 to 5,900 pixels on that side.

    You do not have to calculate this yourself. Every file is checked by a person at the print lab before anything is printed, on resolution, colour and detail against the size you ordered.   • It depends on what you want from the wall. A poster suits a small budget or a space you change often: it is cheap, and you can swap it next year. A limited edition photography print is made for the opposite, one piece you keep.

    The differences are concrete. Posters are usually printed in unlimited numbers. My prints are made to order by a professional print lab, with archival pigment inks on fine art paper, aluminium, acrylic glass or ArtFrame, and every file is checked by a person before printing. Each image is limited to 50 prints worldwide, and I keep the edition register myself.

  • 'Museum quality' is not a certified standard, so it helps to look at what goes into a print. It starts with the file. The image is edited, sharpened for the chosen size and colour-managed, so the colours and the deep shadows you see on screen carry over to the print. The lab checks every file before it prints.

    Then comes the print itself: professional photographic printing on a quality paper or material, followed by finishing, a quality check and careful packing. Which material suits you depends on where the print will hang. Framed prints, acrylic glass, aluminium, canvas and outdoor canvas all behave differently in light and in a room.
