Indian peacock looking straight into the camera, deep blue neck with turquoise and black-and-white wing feathers, wildlife wall art

An Indian peacock looks straight into the lens. The deep blue neck fills the centre of the frame, flanked by turquoise and black-and-white barred wing feathers against dark green. A portrait with character, made to hold a room's attention.

This is the peacock without its famous tail: just the bird, sitting low in the grass and looking straight back at you. The direct eye contact is what makes the image. Every fine feather on the neck is visible, which gives the blue an almost velvet texture. Photographed in a park, not in the wild.

The dark green background lets the colours shine without any extra drama, and the grass at the bottom shows where the bird was resting. It suits a modern living room, a study, an office or an entryway, especially with darker walls or blue accents.

The photo is available as a print in 2:3 formats, from compact to large statement sizes. It pairs well with Over the Shoulder, the peacock seen from behind, as a set of two. Choose the material and size that suit your room. Interior designers and hotel projects can get in touch for larger formats.
